Job Description
Actualize is a 12 week software development boot camp that has campus in Chicago and gives online classes too. They offer both part and full time courses. Instructors with professional experience teach students full stack web development courses including Ruby, JavaScript, Rails, VueJS, SQL and Git. Both kinds of courses use the same immersive, instruction driven curriculum, with the online live classes conducted in real time with video conferencing. They have a ‘job hacking’ curriculum focused on personal branding and networking skills necessary to get a new job, which is as important as learning to code.
After the completion of course, graduates have an option to join the unique Career support program which contains additional training for Job Hacking, team projects and job accountability group to add to one’s portfolio.
Students can submit an application via website to apply and go through a series of two interviews with an admissions advisor. Students need to complete 4 weeks of pre-work before the program begins.
Part time courses happen on Sunday or weekends while full time courses happen from Monday to Friday. This allows working professionals to attend boot camp without disrupting their routine.
