Job Description

Code Fellows offers full and part time software development and cyber security courses online and in person from its Washington and Seattle location. Students are immersed in their learning with daily lectures, weekly presentations, pair programming from full time instructional staff that are professionals and experienced in the industry. Beginners are given a chance to build their experience from the ground up starting with their introductory course while experienced technologists can test into intermediate or advanced level courses. They also offer courses that run nights and weekends, both in-person or online to accommodate students who want to continue their schooling while learning.

Every student is treated with respect and dignity and gets all the help they need to build a rewarding career in the tech industry. They also have the Scholarship Fund that is helpful for students who need assistance with their tuition.

Code 201: Foundations of Software Development

Cost – $5,000

This course helps you build a strong software development foundation and makes you learn how to use HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and various libraries to create functional web applications. The program guides you toward developing a well rounded foundation of skills needed to do well in modern web development. These skills include JavaScript coding, project organization, HTML, CSS, designing with wire framing and employing an introductory agile development method. The course includes lectures, lab, collaborative projects and co-working.

Code 301: Intermediate Software Development

Cost – $5,000

This intensive course will help you study the common core of software development including object oriented and functional programming and computer science fundamentals like basic data structures and algorithms. You can learn how to create and launch web apps in CSS, HTML, and JavaScript with the help of third party APIs from around the web. The course also prepares you for job search with a career coaching curriculum.

Code 401: Advanced Software Development in ASP, .NET Core

Cost – $12,000

You will learn to write well tested, advanced C# code using software engineering patterns and Microsoft’s new ASP.NET core framework. The program focuses on computer science concepts like advanced data structure and algorithms, object oriented programming and the foundation of Microsoft’s ASP.NET Core Framework. Students will get to build projects from start to finish following the best practices and standard agile methodology. The course also includes a career coaching curriculum to help students get a good job after graduation.
