Job Description
It is a software engineering school for women in San Francisco and offers full and part time courses in software engineering programs which cover fundamentals of computer science and modern web development such as JavaScript, Python, Git, Flask, HTML, CSS, pair programming and deployment. Part time courses cover the same curriculum but they are designed for students who want to maintain their jobs. They also offer a 4 week part time prep course that teaches students the foundation of programming.
Students who wish to take admission can fill out an online application form detailing their interests and personality and then complete a coding challenge followed by an interview. The ideal candidate should have a desire to learn software development and have some prior exposure to programming.
The academy also provides graduates with mentorship, career services and tech talks. Once they complete the course, they are placed at big IT companies.
